Heat Pack

DESCRIPTION

The 40h Heat Pack universal warmer is ideal for shipping live animals or plants during the cold season. Important for shipping live animals or plants at low temperatures!

IMPORTANT: The heat pack needs oxygen, so the filling material in the box should not be filled too tightly. Filling materials in which the air is enclosed (bubble film, for example) are unfavorable because the oxygen within the bubbles is not available for the heat pack and the animal. So don't tape the heat pack shut.

An air hole in the box directly on the heat pack may be advisable, especially in small boxes.

The activated carbon in the heat pack begins to heat up when you open the outer packaging of the heat pack and let air get to it. After a warm-up period, the heat pack reaches temperatures of up to 50°C under optimal conditions (manufacturer's information), which it then releases during transport.
